I actually really liked this. Sure the animation was weak, but that made a lot of sense since everything about this flash was in a sort of off-beat weirdo humor sort of way. Especially your choices of music, which were great (ELO! Woot! Hell yeah!), and the excellently nonsensical bonus segment.
And she was kinda sexy a little, but I'm weird like that.

Needle's review had some great points.
I enjoyed this enough to watch it through. It had very good scene-to-scene directing, enough for it to overcome its somewhat cliche'd concept and artistic flaws. Yes, two tones of shading to the colors would help. drawn shading, not gradient fill.
My favorite part was the ship exploding, you drew that well in angle and perspective. Thumbs up for that.
I have a plot-related question. Why were the bad guys standing around and not trying to evacuate if there was a bomb timed to go off in a minute? That confused me, unless all the bad guys didn't know about the bomb, aside from the leader in the white pimp suit and his pilot.
Perhaps a little text intro or something could have cleared up that part of the plot.
Just some constructive advice. Entertaining little movie.
I'll keep that shading advice in mind in the future. I wanted to make it sort of a actiony intro with an unsure story line, that's why there's no text intro and so I won't say what the plot really is *taps nose*.

Yeah, that was drawn like crap but the concept worked great. And that themesong always brings me a smile.
I know I know, but even though I'm a kid im having problems with time to learn and make flash so if I would try i would never get the chance to get it the way i want.
perhaps ill remake this one... its rated better then my other ones :) ill change saddam into osame and uppen the graphics(a lot) .... or i could just make a entirely new remake... oh well. none of your business :)

I wasn't actively watching NG in Feb. 2003 so I don't know if this was on the front page or not. It should have been. Heck, I'd take off some of the crap on the current front page in favor of this.
Any nerd worth his food-stained t-shirt knows who HP Lovecraft is, so you don't need any long explanations to the audience.
I'd like a long explanation for NG viewers on why this is rated so low, though. It looks and sounds great, and is hilarious!
I don't think it ever made the front page, no. As for the rating, it did have a rating over 4 for a long while without any voting on my part, and peaked at #14 on the all-time chart, but then I saw it drop a tenth of a point every day until it was off the chart. Someone with an agenda, I believe. I do appreciate the support of viewers like you! My current work is a whole generation above this one, so keep checking back for its release.

You're right, the file is pretty big, but how about that music huh? It's eating up the filesize, but I say it's worth it.
Hehe, this just may become a game afterall. I thought about making it a game when I first started making the movie, then recently synj said he'd like to see a game made from this, so you never know!

Better than I expected.
This is badly drawn.
But it is well-directed and seems to have a story. It was entertaining enough for me to watch all the way through.
A few pieces of advice:
One, the story is set in 1974 but the look is more like the 90's or 2000's. Perhaps their clothes should be more 70's in stlye.
Two, since it's in the 70's, you should put some 70's funk or rock music in there.
Three, since the story is set in America you sould consult with an American to make sure things are accurate and words are properly spelled.
Draw a little better and take some of that advice into account, you may have a decent series when you're done.
